Here you can see both the original photo and the end result after adding a rainbow.  I took photos of both the rope swing and a nearby rainbow at the same time from the same place. The problem was that I couldn't get the rainbow in the photo with the rope swing.  In Photoshop I carefully selected the sky from the rainbow image and added this selection as a new layer over the sky of the rope swing. I also selected the grassy hill in the foreground of the rope swing image and brightened the color by adjusting the white point of the levels tool.  [Next]
